A wedding brings together guests, suppliers, deliveries, timing and weather decisions.

Your coordinator holds the plan, answers the questions and handles the unexpected—so they do not fall to you or your family.

For a marquee wedding at Songbird, this is an essential role,

so you can relax and enjoy every moment!

Before the day

Your coordinator will:

  • Finalise your timeline

  • Confirm arrangements with suppliers

  • Plan deliveries, do setup and pack-down of tables, chairs etc

  • Help with the marquee layout

  • Prepare for wet or windy weather

  • Coordinate your rehearsal, if included

On your wedding day

Your coordinator oversees the celebration from setup to closing. This may include:

  • Directing suppliers and furniture placement

  • Checking facilities and completing a final walkthrough

  • Assisting with guest arrival and seating

  • Cueing the ceremony and wedding party

  • Keeping catering, speeches, music and dancing on schedule

  • Responding to guest or supplier questions

  • Monitoring weather and sound

  • Overseeing the pack-down and final venue check

She may not perform every task herself. Her job is to make sure the right people know what to do—and when to do it.
