There’s a special kind of charm in a rainy day at Songbird Retreat.

Raindrops glisten on the garden blooms, the air feels fresh and vibrant, and every colour seems to pop a little brighter.

And then, just when you least expect it, a rainbow might stretch across the sky—a perfect, fleeting backdrop for photos and memories that feel truly one-of-a-kind.

Rain doesn’t dampen the magic here; it adds a little extra sparkle to your celebration.

We’ve planned more than just a backup—we’ve created a wet weather plan that makes your day feel just as magical, no matter what the sky does.

Our marquee is airy, light-filled, and beautifully styled, so you won’t feel like you’re trading charm for practicality. Even if a shower rolls in (and Auckland rarely gives us a full day of rain!), couples who dream of a garden ceremony can still hold their ceremony among the blooms under our clear marquee, comfortably seating up to 150 guests.

Since we bought our marquee, we haven’t yet had a ceremony inside, so no photos of this yet….
